Douceur de vivre au bord de la Méditérannée pendant un voyage Hiddenist à Cannes

PRIVATE ESCAPE 7 NIGHTS / 8 DAYS

South of France Itinerary

Basking in the Mediterranean sun

The South of France transcends mere postcard beauty, beckoning travelers to bask in its sunlight and coastal allure. Provence and the French Riviera stand as bastions of French wines and gastronomy, a symphony of flavors and aromas that tantalize from plate to glass.

Nicknamed his "playground" by Mauro Colagreco, this land serves as the canvas for his culinary innovations at Mirazur: a vibrant tapestry infused with sunlight, olive groves, vineyards and fields of lavender, with a touch of Italian influence.

For Colagreco, "cooking is about sharing and blending cultures" : here, citrus fruits dance with freshly caught fish from the azure blue of the Mediterranean Sea, while sunny red and yellow peppers mingle with garlic and olive oil. And let's not overlook the delectable goat cheese, crafted with passion in the Alpine villages.

Gastronomy in the South of France is healthy, simple and colourful, inspired by small Provencal farmers’ markets and local producers. This unique savoir-faire captivates the palates of gourmet travellers, offering a culinary journey brimming with authenticity and delight.

Since Antiquity, Provence has been famous for its wines. The exceptional sun and hot, yet breezy, summers produce fruity and rich wines. Picture sharing a meal and laughing with friends under a shaded pergola, a fresh glass of rosé in hand... a holiday in the South of France weaves memories that linger long after the sun has set.

“Menton is a pretty little town, a little unreal like all these places, but where you can nevertheless find some natural corners. Everything is ruled by the sun.”

Katherine Mansfield

Beyond the illustrious vineyards of Côte de Provence and Coteaux du Var, grape cultivation takes on a more understated presence. Nestled amidst the hillsides of Bellet and Dolceacqua, in Italy, clay-rich soils and the gentle caress of the Mediterranean breeze converge to yield robust and vibrant wines.

Ideal companions for leisurely afternoons of dolce vita on the beach. In this truly epicurean region, good food and easy living are a religion. Your itinerary takes on delicious smells, full of all the fragrances of this amazing land.

In Grasse, lavender, myrtle, rose, orange blossoms, mimosa and jasmine are the wellspring of legendary perfumes by Rochas, Dior, Chanel, and more.

At the crossroads of the Rivieras, Mauro Colagreco shares his taste for easy living and his eclectic cooking with us, to the delight of travelers longing for the balmy weather and stunning landscapes of the French Riviera.
